If you serve with us your internship will not only contain daily tasks and projects\, but also intentional times of training and mentorship. Our hope is that this internship will develop you as a young leader\, helping take you to the next step in God’s journey for your life. Whether you’re pursuing Christian ministry or want to learn how to use your technical skill set to serve the disability community\, we want to help you envision your future and meet your goals. Each internship is designed around the needs of the intern and the availability of the department. We do our best to create an internship around your schedule and according to your objectives. However\, not all departments have the capacity for an intern during every season. If you desire to fulfill a requirement for school\, please send all information and internship requirements to Internships@joniandfriends.org. Please contact us for a list of placement options at our International Disability Center. Corporate Internships are available any time of the year and are flexible in length. The Internship department will facilitate a host home and transportation for the internship\, if needed. Serve as a volunteer seating therapist\, mechanic\, photojournalist\, seamstress/seamster\, or in a support role. Every team member will directly impact people living with disability in a life-changing way. Apply today to serve people with disabilities by providing mobility and sharing the tangible love of Christ. \nWhat to Know About Thailand:\nThis outreach will be located in Hat Yai\, a major city in southern Thailand known for its vibrant culture and strong community ties. Throughout the trip\, you will have opportunities to partner with our Thai brothers and sisters to bring mobility and the Gospel to people living with disabilities. A wheelchair can drastically improve the life of a person with a disability in Thailand as it can increase their independence\, allow access to education\, and open the door for community with their local church. \nCost and Safety Protocols:\nThe cost for this outreach is all-inclusive; however\, any pre-outreach vaccination requirements are the responsibility of each individual traveler. Outreach costs may vary for applicants outside of the 48 contiguous United States.
